Search engine marketing ´a top trend´
Search engine marketing is set to be a significant part of marketing strategies, after a study identified it as being a priority for most sectors.
A survey of Marketing Executives Networking Group (MENG) members by Anderson Analytics found that 42 per cent considered SEO campaigns to be ´very important´.
The poll also indicated that environmental issues are growing in significance, as 32 per cent of members surveyed said it was very important.
Marketing basics, including customer satisfaction and rentention, brand loyalty and return on investment were of interest to 60 per cent of those polled.
"Senior marketers are facing an increasingly complex world with new technologies and
new market segments rising to the fore," said Chandra Chaterji from the MENG board of directors.
The study also revealed that 52 per cent of members consider China to offer the most opportunity for the future, followed by India at 20 per cent.
