This means that the search giant more than 5.5 billion core searches over the month.
Its main rivals, Yahoo! and Microsoft both lost ground to Google. The former´s market share dropped by 0.2 per cent to 23.5 per cent and Bill Gates´ search engine dropped one per cent to 12.3 per cent.
A statement from comScore added: "In comScore´s recently introduced expanded search report, the largest gains were recorded by YouTube and Craigslist, with nine per cent and 7.6 per cent increases in their number of search queries."
