Environment Agency appoints digital marketers
The Environment Agency has appointed a selection of digital marketing agencies to handle its £1.5 million online advertising contracts, it has been reported.
Reading Room and The Team will handle the environmental body´s digital marketing while Flow Interactive and E3 Media will deal with interactive design, according to Precision Marketing.
Meanwhile, Web Usability Partnership and CX Partners will work on the agency´s usability and accessibility, the website states.
The move follows the earlier appointment of marketing firm Tequila to hand the Environment Agency´s direct mail drive to promote its Floodline Warnings Direct System, the news provider reports.
On Saturday, the Environmental Agency issued warnings as torrential rains caused flash floods across England, Scotland and Wales.
There were 40 flood warnings put in place across the UK and information on the areas affected is available on the agency´s website.
Currently, of the eight regions in the country covered by the Environment Agency´s online flood warning system only the north-west has been given the all clear.
